Internal Job Title: Engineer – Production (Toolshop & Fine blanking process)

1. Responsible for maintaining and improvement processes standards Toolshop & Fine Blanking process regarding Safety – Quality – Delivery – Cost (SQDC) – 30%

• Check & monitor process & take the lead in process problem-solving activities (Internal / External defect rate…)
• Define and maintain standard of process (control plan/ process description/ Work Instruction/ Reaction Plan/ Acceptance Standard), conduct and maintain FMEA.
• Start-up & monitor Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) to achieve cost, quality & volume target
• Maintain, update, revise operational data store (ODS) to instruct Operator according to standards defined in ODS which complies with P-FMEA, control plan
• Maintain & Improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
• Control & improve process consumption to secure production demand and achieve budget target

2. Problem solving & statistical process control (SPC) – 40%

• Cooperate with related department to solve production issue, handle internal customer’s complaint
• Improve incapable CpK of characteristics of process
• Solve problem of product quality: change and create relevant reaction plan for the own process
• Find / create a new solution for issue of capacity of the own process. Adapt to a new or sudden target change
• P-FMEA: create solution for high RPN-score items; and re-evaluate them
• Document new solutions as lesson learnt for the future.

3. Lead & implement improvements project / topics – 30%

• Execute new ever project as a leader of a specific module / package (similar to Work Package Leader)
• Implement major change in process that exceeds the initial design of process/ machine and equipment (MAE)/ parts
• Redesign MAE, interlock system for safety of operation.
• Involvement in MAEs / small MAEs and line release projects
