We are looking for a Trade Marketing Manager to drive the success of effective trade marketing and promotional activities of the company. Reporting to the Head of Sales Enablement, the candidate is tasked to maximize revenue growth & targets by developing and implementing the country trade marketing strategy and overall shipper engagement plan.
Sitting within the Sales Enablement Team, the primary goal of the Trade Marketing Manager is to empower our shipper-facing sales teams and/or account managers to sell, activate, service and retain more effectively.
You are to support our various in-country sales channel teams towards achieving their key commercial goals, and contribute to sales performance excellence through the formulation and
effective execution of Trade Marketing levers such as, but not limited to Ninja Van’s shipper rewards program, shipper referral program, shipper engagement initiatives or time-bound tactical promotions. You will work closely with the sales team across all business units and Regional Trade Marketing team, playing an active role from planning, executing, optimizing, and evaluating the local trade marketing and loyalty program initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage full spectrum of rewards program from feedback gathering, shippers management, monitoring of adoption rate/utilization rate, regular management reporting, to iterations and optimizations of the programs;
- Plan and execute online/offline trade events including but not limited to Trade Shows, Shipper Engagement Events and Marketplace Sellers Events;
- Conduct market research and analyze market trends to propose strategies and action plans;
- Achieve the commercial objectives by leading in the conceptualization and execution of all trade promotions from promotion mechanics, marketing collaterals, shipper’s touchpoint, to the final mile of trade implementation with seamless execution;
- Analyze the effectiveness of all trade promotion plans implemented and recommend appropriate improvement plans;
- Collaborate with and support the respective teams to achieve their commercial objectives;
- Work closely with cross-functional a to plan, develop and implement trade marketing, usage and loyalty programs; champion loyalty experience customer journey and to optimize engagement by identifying the shipper segments and deeply understand their needs through design thinking, testing, data analytics and business intelligence and utilise insights to penetrate, engage and grow the segments;
- Drive effective engagement with shippers via communication channels such as eDM, website, in-app notification and other digital touchpoints, exclusive shippers events, gamification and any other value-added services or new initiatives;
- Carry out, reiterate, refine and review loyalty marketing experiments with speed and agility for quick wins and scaling of successful trials;
- Set up programs, promotions, campaigns performance matrix and conduct in-depth post campaign analysis including assessment of overall effectiveness, key insights, findings and recommendations;
- Perform post evaluations of the planned activities, events and provide insights for future activities;
- Program effectiveness measurement & management reporting to provide program and promotions performance measurement, insights and identification of new opportunities.

- Bachelor's Degree, relevant experience will be recommended;
- Strong project management skills;

- Photoshop / Designing skill is a bonus
- Strategic and Analytical: Assess marketplace and dynamics, identify opportunities and make the appropriate strategic investments while maintaining the short-term delivery of leads
- Resource Management: Effective managing of resources and delegating effectively
- Business Acumen: Good understanding of the organization’s objectives, operations, market environment and ethical issues
