Key Responsibilities

Creation & implementation of product quality plans from new product concept to mass production in collaboration with regional Quality Engineers.
Implementation of new product test plans, FAI, 0-run inspections, pre-shipment inspections, reference and limit standards.
Product quality approvals (visual, functional, durability, safety, legal)
Facilitating use of quality tools during NPD
Reporting and analysis of consumer and supplier claims and overall performance
Identification and management of continuous improvement projects.
Delivery stop, recall and safety cases. Cross functional ‘good practice’ and ‘lessons learned’ collaboration.

Education:MSc or BSc in Engineering or equivalent
Experience & knowledge:

Minimum of 5 years experience in Quality Engineering
QC Tools, AQL-Sampling plan, APQP/PPAP, FMEA
Experience in Supplier Quality Audits such as ISO9001 or GMP.
Product lifecycle compliance
Good understanding of materials & manufacturing process controls in plastics, metals, glass, ceramics, wood and textiles would be beneficial
Lean six-sigma green or black belt is preferred
Project Management skills
Strong written and spoken communication skills; presentation, interpersonal. Holistic view. Collaborative & influential. Proactive, curious & committed.

Language skills:Fluent written and spoken English & Vietnamese. Fluency in Chinese Mandarin would also be beneficial.
