Major Responsibilities
· Build collaborative working relationships with contract manufacturing employees to reinforce a culture of quality and trust;
· Issue corrective action requests resulting from test or field failures;
· Confirm implementation of preventative actions reported in 8Ds/CAPAs;
· Observe assembly, test, and inspection operators at contract manufacturer for adherence to work instructions and specified process requirements – reporting on deviations to specification/process;
· Monitor for process/design/assembly inefficiencies that could be addressed though design or specified process changes;
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of new design/process changes;
· Identify deficiencies in test hardware/process and support test engineering in making effective improvements;
· Provide regular review of process instructions to identify gaps;
· Assess opportunities for improvements to in-line data collection, documentation, or quality inspection;
· Regularly review set-up procedures and preventative maintenance for manufacturing tooling/fixture, such as potting equipment;
· Monitor material handling and adherence to specific handling requirements, such as expiration dates, ESD protocols, process dwell time limits, and wear items such as crimping dies.
Yêu cầu
Position Requirement
· Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
· 2 plus years of progressive experience in the Quality Assurance and/or manufacturing environment is preferable
· Must be fluent in written and spoken English.
· Strong analytical, problem solving & root-cause analysis skills
· Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to write reports & procedures
