• Organize and manage the Purchasing Department
• Assign duties and responsibilities to each employee under the Purchasing Department
• Drafting processes – regulations related to the supply of goods – materials – products.
• Collaborates with other departments and leadership to identify and develop needs and requirements for equipment, materials, products, and acceptable substitutions.
• Manage and conduct cost negotiations, compare quotes and overall analysis.
• Manage and update the list of key suppliers and potential suppliers.
• Sourcing of direct and indirect materials, purchasing planning.
• Ensure the supply of goods – materials – products – services of the right quality, on time as required
• Search and develop new suppliers.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors
• Forecast price trends and future business impact
• Maintains and/or implements purchasing and recordkeeping systems.
• Administers the departmental budget.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
