Job Overview:
Under the general supervision of the Production Manager and Plant Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for coordinating and supervising day-to-day lines production operations. This includes, but is not limited to organizing and assigning work to employees, instructing, guiding, and assisting employees in the attainment of production and quality goals/standards, developing and mentoring team members, and driving safety performance results that meet and/or exceed company goal and targets.
1. What you’ll get to do:
– Responsible for Shelling and Grading of Pistachios Inshells and Kernels
– Area In-charge for production site – B12
– Continuous Coordination with Imports, Warehousing, Planning, Upcountry Units, and Shipping teams to execute the production plan of the function
– Work closely with planning team to drive day to day operational plans
– Report to the Production/Factory Manager with required MIS and additional inputs required for Business Analysis and Decision making
– Lead the Daily, weekly and monthly operational meetings, for the assigned function
– Drive the SAP and Barcode system compliance of the area
– Coordinate with Maintenance team to keep machine health in check
– Develop strong team structure and capabilities to empower them in handling production with minimal supervision
– Develop full process manual for the function by coordinating with Production/Factory manager
– Analyze processing costs and coordinate cost-control initiatives for Pistachios
– Lead operational excellence in coordination with Production/Factory Manager
– Extend Support in ancillary activities of the business
