Our client, the conglomerate with potential growth in Vietnam, is seeking an experienced sourcing expert in durable goods for Merchandising Director position. The job is based in Ha Noi.
Job Summary: Report to the General Director, the Merchandising Director is member of Management team to give influence on both the commercial and the strategic direction. You are also responsible for Merchandising & B2B Development strategy to achieve business goals.
Job Responsibilities:
– Responsibility for strategy, management and control of the Merchandising and B2B Development Strategy and Supplier Relationship as a major contribution to the achievement of the business objectives
– Develop specific customer strategy and sales initiatives by segment. Define projects, obtain approval and resources from board to proceed, lead the team towards implementation.
– Full P&L for all Categories. Provide vision, develop short & long term strategies, set objectives and achieve turnover, margin and throughput for all categories offered. Optimize financial efficiency
– Acts as the interface in the Country Management Board between supplier and company. Build up and maintain business relationships with other principals, suppliers and governmental authorities and institutions
– Define and ensure the maintenance of product quality / safety benchmark standards
– Ensure product availability through effective stock / old stock management and supplier partnership development
– e abreast of trends in the market, qualifying new trends, brands or developments.
