Our client, a dynamic manufacturer with innovative technology, is looking for a hands-on and experienced engineer for Lean Manufacturing Engineer position. The role will work at factory in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Job Summary: Reporting to Continuous Improvement Manager, the Lean Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for developing lean strategy and deployment, driving the company transformation with new and proven methodology, continuous improvement initiatives and lean projects across multiple functions.
Job Responsibilities:
· Be a leader and coach towards integration of Lean principles, values, philosophies and tools for driving continuous improvement
· In charge of Lean manufacturing method implementation, develop procedures/ process, enforce and follow up projects.
· In charge of holding weekly and monthly meeting for idea evaluation, implementation of lean methodologies.
· Collect data, analyze problems, make recommendations and deliver desired results. Establish SOPs and flow charts for procedure improvements. Work hands-on to implement suggestions that improve or change processes in supporting the company’s objectives
· Introduce and sustain a Lean culture into a value stream. Provide coaching and support on value stream design sessions, project identification, and prioritization
· Monitor, coach, and continuously improve Value Stream transformation initiatives to ensure continuous and aggressive throughput time reduction
