About the Chief Accountant Role:
You will report directly to Japanese General Director in Vietnam and dot line to Financial Director in HKG. Your main responsibilities are to oversee all the daily accounting activities, handle tax issues, author periodical reporting, and manage the internal control process of the company which aligns the company’s policies and procedures and compliance with local regulations.

Job Description

• Supervise all the accounting activities and ensure bookings are processed timely and correctly (accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory control accounting, payroll, and local tax payments …)
• Manage month/quarter/year end reporting align with VAS and IFRS
• Participate in forecasting, cashflow management, budgeting & controlling.
• Deal with tax authorities regarding tax issues (CIT, VAT, WHT, PIT) and tax complications
• Ensure internal control and compliance processes of the company
• Be the direct contact point in working with external auditors
• Responsible for statutory reports with authorities.
• Other tasks assigned by Line Manager
