General Description
· Ensure the accurate and timely movement of LCL cargo to- and from specific locations within the applicable ocean freight service standards
· Handle selected Vendor facing communication and shipment related internal communication between DB Schenker stakeholders
· Act in a manner which increases Customer satisfaction and loyalty, maximizes shipment profitability and decreases operating expenses
· Promote a paperless, digital office environment utilizing all modern communication methods and electronic tools provided by DB Schenker
· Support a positive, attractive working atmosphere and office environment
Specific Accountabilities
· Maintain “Gateway Schedules” and create “Consol Masters” in TMS (TANGO)
· Should input correctly CFS cut-off, warehouse (if releasing booking directly via Tango)
· Interact with Export Customer Management Team and/or Export Operations Team for rescheduled or rejected bookings
· Book container / shipments with Carriers resp. 3rd party NVOs
· Manage and confirm bookings with Carriers resp. 3rd party NVOs
· Arrange stuffing plan with WH/Co-loader and Hub
· Arrange “Road Feeder” from first warehouse of receipt to final CFS and create “Road Feeder” manifest in TMS (TANGO) – as applicable
· Confirm shipment receipt at CFS (Container Freight Stations)
· Register and handle discrepancies upon cargo receipt at CFS – as applicable
· Generate “Load List” in TMS (TANGO) and provide to CFS
· Check and follow-up with Export Documentation Team on ACR (Advance Cargo Reporting) status of “Consol House” – as applicable
· Confirm “Load Plan” in TMS (TANGO)
· Perform required interaction with CY (Container Yard) and port authorities – as applicable
· Continuously monitor shipment’s ‘on board’ status with Carrier resp. 3rd party NVO
· Update ETD and ETA in TMS (TANGO) in case of vessel/schedule changes
· Input ATD (actual time of departure) into TMS (TANGO) on time
· Request invoice from Carrier resp. 3rd party NVO and forward to Operational Accounting Team for processing – as applicable
· Request master data update from/with GBS Team
· Generate “Shipping Notice” to Destination Gateway in TMS (TANGO)
· Create Profit and Loss reconciliation data and documents
· Verify Master “cost control” in TMS (TANGO)
· In case delays or change from carrier/co-loader, GTW will make notice and send to CM for updating with customer
· Save Co-loader’s booking and Master STT # on Share-point link
· Timely and accurate completion of activities in TMS (TANGO)
· Ensure compliance with general ocean freight KPI’s
· Manage and resolve invoicing disputes with Vendors
· Reserve Cost in Gateway and income in House level
