An US global manufacturer of electronic instruments and electromechanical devices
The Field Service Engineer performs the installation and commission of equipment. Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical problems and/or hardware and software control programming, which includes control circuits, electronics, and P.C. Boards. All machines are PC or PLC controlled; some machines are linked to Customer’s IT network for host system communications.
-Travel within Vietnam applying field service to customers on a frequent basis
-Supply service including machine installation and startup, warranty service, training, machine upgrade etc. in customer’s plant and get acceptance of customer
-Supply technical support for the customers in the region, including answering customers’ phone calls and emails for technical issues
-Assist Aftermarket sales team for sales of upgrade or spare parts
-Provide feedback on production, quality, customer satisfaction and continuous improvements
-Keep the Service Manager informed on progress or problems on site, with written reports and checking in with the Service Manager before leaving a site.
Yêu cầu
-At least 3 to 5 years working experience in a field service job or the plant maintenance job, preferably for a tire or automotive plant; working experience on testing machine will be plus.
-Proficiency in computer and electrical controls;
-Experience and good capability with PLC is a must, such as Allen Bradley or Siemens
-Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, servo and pneumatic systems.
-Good English writing and speaking, Chinese will be plus

- Good Customer Service skills, in person, on the phone and by email
- Good awareness of Health & Safety issues
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Willing and able to work weekends and overtime.
- Must be willing and able to travel frequently by air or automobile to customer site
