In this role, you will:

• Process promptly and accurately all corporate announcements in the Vietnam stock market.
• Thoroughly understand a corporate events life circle and all relevant SWIFT messages relevant to Corporate action.
• Regularly contact with regulators: Vietnam Security Depository, State Security Committee, Stock Exchange on the corporate action and reporting matters.
• Process clients’ instructions pertained to corporate action with extreme care to ensure timeliness and accuracy.
• Work with issuing company regarding to their general meeting and in order to provide proxy voting service to our clients.
• Prepare Corporate action reports, audit confirmation by the timeline regulated /agreed.
• Provide timely responses to all queries from other teams. Promptly escalate all the exceptional cases.
• Confirm cash and security balance to broker upon request. Backup for other Officers during leave.
• Review and update the procedures belong to Corporate Action.
• Contribute into HSS projects, BCP preparation and testing and regular compliance reviews.
• Maintain connections with external and internal to ensure the best client services being offered.
• Oversight tasks assigned to counterparties to ensure high level standard of services.
• Back-up for other officers in the section.
• Timely escalation of situations wherein the normal process steps might need to be diverted from.
• Maintain HSBC control standards and follow Group Compliance Policy to minimize operational risk by:
– Remaining compliant with and ensures awareness of Audit and Group requirements and other internal guidelines.
– Ensuring strict compliance with government banking regulations
– Timely implementing internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.
