The Community Exe inspires and empowers millions of individuals to make healthier choices and support them in their journey of health discovery through the development of high quality local health communities. These communities serve as a platform for the pro-active health seeker, caregiver or chronic disease sufferer to reach, learn and get support from other similar individuals. You will be ensuring by moderating closely that the communities remain a safe space, where relevant and useful information is exchanged and all members feel welcome. Directly engaging with the audience & community where necessary you will lead the growth & engagement of the community.
Your Key Responsibilities
Community Acquisition & Strategy
- Develop a deep understanding of the overall audience & commercial strategy in order to develop a specific strategy for the development of the communities on the platform
- Decide and determine after doing in depth market, competitor and other research which communities to develop, when and a specific strategy for the growth of each community
- Work together with the audience & marketing teams to strategize and plan to acquisition strategy for communities leveraging Social Media, CRM, Paid channels & on platform mechanics to maximise the reach and member sign ups to the communities
- Collaborate with the Commercial team to align the strategy for communities and develop commercialisable audiences & set targets for acquisition in line with the commercial strategy and goals
- Provide feedback from audiences & community members to internal stakeholders in order to refine and improve the community product, working closely with the product & technology team to implement new features as functions that create value for our members
- Decide the operational resource requirements needed to develop & manage the communities, working with the cross functional teams to ensure resources, processes & policies are in place to build & maintain active communities
- Work with partners & clients to further grow and develop the communities, leveraging knowledge, audiences & expertise from external parties as and when it makes sense
Your KPIs include:
- # Members within the community vs. target
- Revenue Generated from communities
- Development of Roadmap & Strategy document
Community Management & Engagement
- Manage the day to day operations of the community ensuring moderation is in line with the company guidelines & policies. Moderate directly the comments, questions & members.
- Provide unique & exciting opportunities, experiences & engagement activities for the community members to enhance their experience within the community including doctor Q&As, giveaways, polls and the like.
- Monitor the engagement of the communities and members, proposing and implementing activities that will increase the engagement of the communities over time
- Continue to develop the community management guidelines and policy for your market and ensure all moderators & members are aware of the policies and guidelines
- Support the delivery of client campaigns within the communities including but not limited to advertising, sponsorships, lead generation campaigns & insight surveys
- Manage the development of an expert moderation & ambassador panel to support the moderating of the communities working with partners as needed to find, recruit and support these experts & ambassadors
- Report on the performance of the communities and engagement metrics as well as present plans for how to enhance the performance as requested
Your KPIs include:
- Member engagement (MAU, DAU)
- Positive NPS of community members
- Size & quality of the audience in the community
- Client & campaign delivery on time and in budget
Yêu cầu
- Bachelor degree or higher in any writing specialty (Journalism, language, media) will be considered combined with a passion and interest in healthcare & digital is preferred
- Experience creating high quality content in technical areas such as healthcare is important with an eye for detail and high standards and proven compliance to policies & ethical standards
- Track record of working within and building communities online & offline, within the healthcare space preferred but all community management experience welcomed
- Passion for community development & management, with a keen interest in health and wellness is a plus
- Highly vigilant to adherence of policies, guidelines & experience upholding high ethical standards
- Technical writing experience including the optimisation of content for Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) & a clear understanding of best practices for SEO
- Past experience managing small teams is desired with a performance driven mindset and proven ability to develop junior team members
- Data-driven individual with an entrepreneurial mindset who is driven by getting things done to a high standard within a short period of time
Experience with writing software, data tools and CMS systems is a plus such as Wordpress, Google Docs and Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as community management software
