JOB PURPOSES:

• Manage day-to-day financial activities of Heineken Tien Giang; control its financial resources and ensure that all financial transactions, systems, and procedures comply with regulations, accounting principles and standards. Ensure all reports requested by both Group reporting team and local authorities are met, prepared in accurately and in time.
• Be the TG business partner for the OPCO supply chain management team (including TG leadership team), have a good understanding of the functional processes to ensure effective business decision making at Heineken
• Set and support delivery of challenging brewery financial and non-financial target in the supply chain area within an effective and robust financial control environment, including ongoing projects.

Accountabilities

• Direct and control the cash management including cost control, credits and currency exposure to ensure compliance to the company policy.
• Monitor & manage timely and accurately accounting reports and financial statements to the management. Advise the management on financial matters and update local laws and regulations on the operation of the organization to assist the management in decision making.
• Provide support to other managers with financial analysis and other financial reporting functions to help them manage their financial responsibilities.
• Lead, direct, evaluate and develop financial staff to ensure that the company’s accounting activities are conducted accurately, consistently and according to relevant laws, regulations and standards. Ensure all local statutory filings are completed accurately and on time. Present and explain results to local regulatory authorities as required.
• Assure overall tax planning functions of the Company and to ensure that the company’s overall tax liabilities and exposure are minimized.
• Be business partnership and decision support by:
  – Maximise business performance by working closely alongside, challenging and influencing the brewery team, opco supply chain team and finance team
  – Provide advice, guidance and influence/strengthen decision making in the company
  – Support the business planning cycle such as strategic plan, annual plan and latest estimates
  – Perform business performance review by monitoring and developing insight performance at the brewery level.
