Position: Mechanical Design Engineer

Responsibility
1. Tender Works
– Received client requirement and study
– Mechanical basic calculation and design drawing HVAC; Firefighting system; water supply; drainage and WWTP system…)
– M&E basic design check and confirmed to related regulations (such as construction law; FF regulations; environmental regulation…)
– BOQ (Bill of quantities) and specifications of main M&E equipment (such as Transformer; Generator; Fan; Air Conditioner; Pump…)
– Calculate/ estimate quantity of sub-material (such as calbe; valves; pipe; support…)
– Support Sale department to explain the M&E design work to client
– Support Quality Service department to clarify technical and quantity matter with subcontractor/ vender
– Update, revise M&E design according to client comment/ requirements
– Record and control the changing requirement from client and internal
– Make report, update internal training; knowledge sharing
2. Detail Design Works
– Build up M&E typical drawing standard format (drawing frame; font style; line style…) and typical detail drawings (lighting; outlet socket; foundation bolts; piping support; ducting; fans; air conditioner; pump…)
– Study and build up M&E typical calculation sheets (such as fans; AC; pump; duct and pipe size; cable; transformer capacity…)
– Design document management and control (document naming rule; soft files control; hard copy files control…)
– Prepare M&E drawing/ documents for Firefighting and Construction application works. Follow up until the approval document issued
– Develop and detail mechanical design drawing according to the mechanical basic design
3. M&E Construction Site Works
– Receive changing order from client, report to manager, support for Quotation Request to vender/ supplier
– Summary and control the changing order; fluctuation cost of M&E works
– Perform the testing and commissioning work according to approval procedure (by designer or manufacture instructions)
– Periodical inspection
– Operation training for owner/ final user
4. M&E Maintenance Work
– Technical document, drawing prepare
– Support for request quotation from vender/ subcontractor

– Working location: Dong Da District, Hanoi
– Monthly Salary: 500～650(USD)
