Job Details
Position: Chief Quantity Surveyor
Job Code: 61310
Responsibility
– Calculate Bill of Quantity and Cost Estimation based on the architectural drawings, engineering estimates, materials required, and labor involved
– Prepare cost analysis
– Looking for sub-contractor & supplier to improve competitive and profit
– Assist in contract preparation for various packages, value progress payments at regular intervals.
– Liaison with and management of commercial arrangements with suppliers/ sub-contractors.
– Control works quality and time schedule within group
– Keep abreast with the market material price.
– Review architectural plans and prepare quantity needs
– Set budgets for payments, inventory needs, and materials
– Track changes in plans or constructions; update budgets
– Negotiate with contractors and subcontractors
– Keep track of construction materials and inventory
– Identify potential financial or construction risks
– Advise clients on improvements, strategies, and/or estimated costs
– Document progress, materials, and reports on project
– Source maintenance costs and facilities management for clients
– Develop and maintain working relationships with contractors and subcontractors
– Select and/or source construction materials
– Working location: District 1, Ho Chi Minh City
– Monthly Salary: 860～1100(USD)

Requirements
- Gender: Male
- Age: 35 - 40
- Education Background: University Degree in Civil Engineering
- Language Skill: English - Intermediate Level
- At least 5 years of general construction estimating experience, financial experience, construction experience, or related field
- Able to analyze financial records and apply data to improved results
- Strong aptitude for numbers, spreadsheets, and financial reports
- Experienced at compiling and following strict budgets; strong estimating and financial analysis skills
- In-depth understanding of construction, materials, pricing, and industry
- Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
- Intermediate skilled in AUTOCAD, Microsoft Excel, and Word , BIM
- Time management skill.
- Understand Fidic contract.
