The School of Languages, Literatures and Cultures at Trinity College Dublin, University of Dublin is offering two Faculty Masters scholarships for Non-EU eligible graduate applicants. These scholarships will be awarded to pursue a full-time masters degree at the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences in the academic year 2017-2018.
A Masters programme in SLLCS is a unique opportunity to gain knowledge and skills through postgraduate studies in specific subject areas that will equip students with advanced intercultural competencies necessary for negotiating an increasingly interconnected world.
Applicants whose first language is not English are usually required to provide evidence of proficiency in English at the higher level required by the University.
Course Level:
Scholarships are available for pursuing the master programme.
- IELTS: Grade 6.5 (No section less than 6.0)
- TOEFL: 90 – internet based (with a written score of 21)
- University of Cambridge:
- Proficiency Certificate, Grade C or better (CEFR Level C1 or C2)
- Advanced Certificate, Grade C or better (CEFR Level C1 or C2)
- Pearson Test of English (Academic) – PTE Academic: a minimum score of 63 to be eligible (with no section score below 59)
- Applicants should complete the application and should submit a supporting statement of the motivation of approximately 500 words outlining their reasons for applying for the course and their main areas of academic interest.
