Role Summary
– To lead the Contract Logistics Business Development team and to grow the Contract Logistics business of Schenker Vietnam.
– Develop local Contract Logistics pipeline with regular and documented customer Interactions
– Engage with DB Schenker colleagues on new business – RHO & Global driven sales development & opportunities to support Vietnam
– Participate as key stakeholder within the bid process – Customer engagement and SD support
– Provide reporting and administration in the area of Sales & Planning
– Lead , guide and mentor Contract Logistics sales staff & solution design team members in Vietnam.
Specific Accountabilities
– Identify opportunities and establish relationships with target customers in our target verticals leading to a strong BD pipeline. Follow up regularly on opportunities and enter all details within the Sales platform
– Manage tenders (RFI, RFQ) incl solution design, calculation and pricing
– Lead the bid process for Contract Logistics – drive the team to achieve the optimum result
– Act as the central point of contact for Schenker’s Regional BD team for Vietnam projects
– Drive deeper relationships and integration with Key target customers
– Develop and coach BD team members in the area of hard and soft skill negotiations
– Other projects related to the development of CL as assigned by the management
– Prepare detailed solutions and customer proposal presentations as required based on customer expectations

Experience and Qualifications
-Bachelor or Masters Degree in a relevant commercial or technical field
-Minimum 4-6 years sales experience in a 3PL company, thereof minimum 2 years in a managerial role. Previous experience in a line function is an advantage
-Excellent written and spoken English
-Well verse with MS office applications
