JOB PURPOSE
Operations working together with data engineers, data analyst and data scientist to get things done faster in an automated and repeatable way during data product’s development life cycle.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operating, administer the service infrastructure on the AWS/GCP cloud platform
- Implement, configure, and upgrade cloud computer systems, servers, firewall, intrusion-detection and network infrastructure using security best practices and incorporating solutions to meet or exceed SOC2, ISO 27001, and other regulatory requirements.
- Review implementation of security controls and evaluate effectiveness, make recommendations for improvements.
- Develop a strategy for dealing with increasing number of audits, compliance checks and external assessment processes for internal/external auditors, i.e. SOC2, ISO 27001
- Work with auditors as appropriate to keep audit focus in scope, maintain excellent relationships with audit entities and provide a consistent perspective that continually puts the institution in its best light. Provide guidance, evaluation and advocacy on audit responses
- Design scenario, script, and utilities to automate repeatable administrator tasks such as deployment, backup/restore, package, and so on
- Configure, administrate CI/CD tools/utilities.
- Develop scripts to automate processes using scripts such as bash, shell, python, etc.
- Build and develop tools to administer, monitor services/system health, and cloud infrastructure.
- Participate in building integration strategy, application testing such as API test, SIT, Regression Test, Performance Test, Stress Test, Security Test.
- Participating in researching new technology solutions for the project
- Provide production support and ongoing maintenance and enhancement of service and application

REQUIREMENTS
- Must Have
o Diploma/ Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
o More than 4 years of experience working at DevOps engineer position
o Experience in deploying and operating systems with high load capacity, high availability
o Experience working with Google Cloud Platform: GCE, GKE, GCS, VPC, IAP, VPC SC, PubSub, BigQuery, SCC,…
o Experience in working and implementing systems and services on Kubernetes, Docker platforms
o Experience working on deploy & testing automation tools: Jenkin, Gitab CI, AWS CI/CD, SonarQube
o Experience in building and implementing monitoring solutions: Prometheus, Kibana, Grafana, ELK, GrayLogs
o Have good experience or knowledge of Nginx, HAProxy, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Load Balancing
o Have good experience or knowledge of database: PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB
o Proficiency scripting in one or more programming Languages: Python, Perl, Shell Scripting, Bash
o Solid understanding of TCP/IP network protocols and experienced with firewalls, NAT, packet analysis and tools like Wireshark
o Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Should Have
o Infrastructure as Code: Container, Infrastructure provisioning
o Experience working with AWS services: Elastic BeanStalk, S3, CloudFront, EC2, SQS, SNS, ElasticCache, ALB ELB, AutoScale, VPC ...
o SQL programming, Go/ Java programming
o Knowledgeable in PCI, HIPAA, SOC, or ISO 27001 security compliance standards, certification, reporting and maintaining process
- Nice to Have
o Cloud security certificates: CCSP,…
o Experience implementing security mechanisms and controls in a cloud environment.
o Know modern data processing frameworks, modern big data architecture
o Master's degree in a relevant field is advantageous.
o Experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment
o Mentoring and coaching skill
