SUMMARY:

• The QA manager position leads and drives the implementations of the global quality programs in coordination with the production and QC managers as well as factory management. Moreover, this position is in charge in monitoring and auditing quality systems and policies compliance and also the chargebacks from each regions. This position serves also as the external communication window for quality-related issues.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Drives and leads the implementation of the global QA programs and conducts necessary meetings and trainings as well as ensuring proper communications to ensure proper understanding by all stake holders.
• Communicates quality issues and concerns by US and other regional Distribution Centers as well as other external parties to Deckers production
• teams and factories and follows up needed actions to close the issues.
• Manages and is responsible for the Factory QC Inspectors training and certification program.
• Drives product consistency of multi-sourced models in coordination with Deckers production/QC team, DevCom, and source factories management.
• Leads the gathering , analysis , and communication of quality performance data’s like defective returns, quality locks, and other quality metrics data and coordinate with concerned parties for actions where needed.
• Manages the defective returns confirmation in coordination with the regional and GLOBAL DC’s, production team, and factories.
• Leads his team in doing internal quality systems and process compliance audits in all source factories
• Serves as external communication window for Quality issues and ensures these are acted upon by parties concerned and communicate back action done or action plan to close the issues.
