In this role, you will:
Impact on the Business
- Develop and deliver the country sector plan
- Meet Country EBV sales targets and TOI for North
- Ensure alignment with compliance requirements for the business
- Define growth strategy and blue print for in line with coverage team
- Ensure market share growth amongst defined banks targeted wallet shares
- Maintain existing wallet shares and ensure client satisfaction;
Customers / Stakeholders
- Ensure external client satisfaction with all clients, speedily resolving major client dissatisfaction with HSBC
- Ensure excellent working relationships and collaboration with in all internal stakeholders/clients in particular global product management
- Ensure the client proposition is fit for purpose and investment for the sector is not overlooked
- Review and deploy optimal coverage model for the GB/CMB Corporate PCM sales foot print .
- Communicate with stakeholders at a regional/global level; ensure effective internal and external communication and sharing of such projects. Serve as liaison between Client Service and other project stakeholders.
- Ensure the performance objectives of the business are achieved;
Leadership & Teamwork
- Lead the country sales teams working closely with Customer Groups
- Work closely with product management in particular clearing and liquidity to ensure a joined up proposition
- Actively participating in customer group business review and ensure PCM voice is heard and actionned
- Lead and manage team to deliver an excellent service, the PCM and Group strategy and business objectives
- Promote and contributing to a strong engagement culture
- Be ultimately responsible for the performance management of your team, using relevant performance management tools, ensuring timely action is taken to improve underperformance, to maximise effectiveness of the team;
Operational Effectiveness & Control
- Qualify measures of performance for sales managers and their teams in place and monitored
- Search for personal feedback on a regular basis from key stake holders
- Maintain and observe all HSBC control standards and implement and observe the Group Compliance Policy,
- Foster a compliance culture. The term ‘compliance’ embraces all relevant laws, rules and codes with which the business has to comply
- To continually re-assess the operational risks inherent in the business, taking account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices, management restructurings and the impact of new technology.

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
Essential
- Relevant industry expertise in transaction banking and PCM
- Solid leadership and sales experience - proven sales record
- Solid strategic vision of the business and proven track record in performance excecution
- Senior team player and with proven track record of internal corporate agility
- Ability to Interact at very senior level both internally and with Clients
- Successful business leader with the ability to influence internally and externally .
- Strong knowledge of local and country cash management and clearing services, products and techniques.
- Proven ability to deliver creative and flexible customer solutions.
- Senior level of business acumen and commercial awareness, including economic, cultural, procedural and regulatory issues
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent time management, planning and organisation skills
- Excellent range of communication skills, including written, verbal, and the ability to deliver compelling presentations
- Strong analytical and selling skills
Desirable
- Relevant industry expertise in Securities and Trade
- Flexibility and allowance for business travel
- Experience of working in an International Global Banking environment
- Knowledge of Treasury Foreign Exchange
- Broad based knowledge of HSBC Group companies and product ranges
- Knowledge of day to day workings of a Corporate Treasury environment, foreign exchange and payments.
- Broad knowledge of HSBC Group companies and product ranges
- Association of Corporate Treasurers International Certificate in Cash Management
- Association of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, Certified Treasury Professional or other recognised professional qualification
- Comprehensive knowledge of the HSBC Group's inter/intra clearing systems
- Bilingual
