Company Profile: International award-winning executive recruitment expert Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of international manufacturer. Our client, the brand with innovative and advanced solutions, is seeking a hands-on Sustainability Development Officer.
Job Summary: This Account Manager will use forecasting and analytical skills to target areas for new growth, develop new customers, and maintain relationships with customers and the manufacturing team. This person will be the primary customer sales representative working collaboratively with manufacturing personnel to ensure a high level of customer service.
Job Responsibilities:
· Prepare and negotiate long term customer agreements
· Manage / supervise employees and provide day to day direction
· Help direct reports develop their careers
· Present to management
· Develop an overall global industry plan including the major accounts, second tier accounts, and OEM’s that focus on profitable global growth.
· Develop technical / product plans in conjunction with the field sales teams for the major target accounts and leads team reviews / updates of account plans
· Discover and understand customer’s primary business goals, operations, challenges, requirements, organization and develops sponsorship with key
· Evaluate and prioritize pursuit strategy. Coordinate efforts across multiple world areas for international projects.
· Identify and investigate emerging market segments for focused industry segment and develop strategies to penetrate those markets.
· Identify existing and future / potential product gaps for global industry segment to drive new product development from the product BU’s.
· Analyze competitive strengths/weaknesses and market pricing as it impacts the focused industry segment.
· Provide direction for independent representatives and direct sales offices with respect to focused industry sales.
· Utilize influence management to increase world area sales focus on specific industry initiatives for growth.
Yêu cầu
· B.S. Chemistry or Engineering degree
· 3 to 7 years’ experience selling specialty chemicals in compounders segments
· Fluent in English
· The ability to work collaboratively with manufacturing personnel to understand manufacturing methods and supply chain issues; an early career spent in a manufacturing plant is helpful.
· Best with a “hunter” personality demonstrating a high energy level when interacting with customers.
· Must possess a valid driver’s license and the appropriate ID required for domestic air travel.
